Shoe-clips - adding that little something extra to a plain pair of shoes

It's been a long time since my last blog post, and though I made this draft back in June, I haven't gotten around to publishing it. Today I was asked twice how my blog was doing, so thought it was about time to resuscitate it.
As I've mentioned before I love a little something extra when it comes to shoes. That makes shoe-clips perfect for me, and I think they are a really cute add-on to my collection. Shoe-clips can instantly turn a basic pair of shoes into something special, and they can change the appearance of the shoe to better suit your mood. They make you able to get an unique pair of shoes that you might otherwise never get your hands on, because they simply don't make the shoe that way. This is great news to me, since I still can't understand why every single model of shoe doesn't come with a cute bow as well. That being said, as with many other things, there's also some cons to the pros.
Depending on the clip it might leave marks on your shoe, so I wouldn't recommend wearing them on a favourite pair. All shoe-clips are different, so when receiving a new pair, I always check the quality of the "back padding" before trying it on. The quality differs immensely, especially since I tend to buy mine from different sellers on Etsy, and sometimes they think more about the looks than what happens to the shoe when putting them on. Another bad thing about the clips is that they will come in contact with your feet, and depending on the model of your shoe and the clip itself, it will start to hurt after a while. I would therefore never wear the clips to an all-day event. It also hurts my eyes that the clip will never be placed at the center of the shoe the way it would if it was an integrated part of the shoe. I guess the only way around this would be to glue the clip permanently on to your shoe. An idea I haven't thought much about, but I guess that might be an option if you have a favourite shoe-clip that suits a specific pair of shoes really well.
As I said, most of my clips are bought on Etsy. They reflect my love of pale pink and sparkles, but obviously there's countless other options if you give it a look. I myself am on a hunt for a specific bee pair I once saw, but they have sadly been sold out ever since.
Having now brought my blog back to life, please let me know if there's any specific subject you would like me to write about. Oh, and thanks for still being here even though I've been gone a while.
